A European ambition

Dassault Systèmes and Verkor partner to accelerate sustainable innovation in lithium-ion batteries. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is catalyzing new advances in battery development, from battery chemistry to the Gigafactory. In addition, the process relies on virtual twin technology.

Dassault Systèmes and Verkor aim to fuel a European ecosystem in the field of batteries. This ambition is in line with the initiatives implemented by the European Union in the field of batteries. Indeed, this European program aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform

Dassault Systèmes with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform offers its knowledge and experience in the transformation of high-tech sectors. Moreover, this also concerns transport, mobility, energy and materials. It is about establishing new methodologies and ways to innovate sustainably in different areas.

In addition to the Li-ion batteries, Verkor will benefit from the long-term support of Dassault Systèmes’ technical teams. The company can then develop its expertise on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The construction of its first Gigafactory in Dunkirk will enable high levels of virtualization.
