Tilda, a South Korea–based company specialising in artificial intelligence energy optimisation technologies, is intensifying its expansion into the Vietnamese market. The company aims to offer industrial sites solutions that enhance the performance of solar installations and Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
Addressing rising energy demand
With electricity consumption growing rapidly in Vietnam and increasing pressure on the grid, industrial players are seeking local, efficient energy alternatives. In response, Tilda is introducing its ArgMax Power platform, which applies artificial intelligence to both the design and real-time management of solar and ESS systems, in order to reduce costs without compromising operational stability.
The company is currently in discussions with local industrial park developers and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies to support ESS investment strategies. It is also exploring technical and commercial cooperation with VINAtech, a Korean enterprise already active in Vietnam.
Proven model in industrial settings
The ArgMax Power solution delivers dual functionality: optimal system design at the investment stage and intelligent control during operation. This combined approach helps reduce total electricity usage and peak demand, generating savings of up to 30% on energy bills, even for facilities already equipped with solar and ESS infrastructure.
In 2025, a pilot project at a manufacturing plant in Okayama, Japan, tested the platform under real-world conditions. Compared to a conventional management system, ArgMax Power reduced average monthly peak demand from 127.53kW to 82.58kW without affecting production. For a site with an annual electricity bill of approximately $115,000, the resulting savings reached around $25,000.
Digital tools to support investment planning
Beyond operational control, Tilda offers a cloud-based quotation and simulation platform to assist in investment planning. By analysing site data and historical electricity usage, the service simulates solar production, grid usage, and ESS charge state across a full year, providing companies with a reliable basis to estimate capital expenditure and expected operational savings.
Tilda’s international expansion is backed by a government support programme led by South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency. Vietnam is positioned as a key growth market within this global strategy.
