Stem and SB Energy, announce a multi-year technology and business alliance aimed at deploying flexible, reliable and cost-effective clean energy on a large scale.

As part of this alliance, Stem will become SB Energy’s preferred partner for the 10GWh Energy Management System (EMS) of its energy storage pipeline across North America over the next five years, including CAISO and ERCOT. This collaboration will enable energy buyers to decarbonize their operations around the clock with innovative technologies, delivering renewable energy on a massive scale.

SB Energy develops, owns and operates some of the most technically advanced large-scale renewable energy projects in the United States. SB Energy currently owns and operates 2 GW of clean energy, with a planned increase to 3 GW by mid-2024. In just four years, SB Energy has built one of the largest development and operating platforms in the United States, demonstrating its ability to develop, secure the supply chain, finance, invest in cutting-edge technologies and operate at scale.
