Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) signed on March 15 the "Energy, Sustainability, and Climate Change Cooperation Framework." The ceremony brought together Tan See Leng, Minister responsible for Energy and Science & Technologies at MTI, and Akazawa Ryosei, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry at METI. This agreement formalizes the two countries' commitment to strengthening cooperation on low-carbon energy sectors.
