Ormat Technologies announced the signing of a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Switch, a data center operator specializing in artificial intelligence and cloud services. According to the company, this is the first direct PPA concluded by Ormat with a data center operator. The agreement covers the supply of approximately 13 MW of geothermal energy from the Salt Wells plant, located near Fallon, Nevada.
