ECO STOR has announced plans to build a new site in Schuby, Schleswig-Flensburg. Scheduled to begin in November 2024, this initiative will add 103.5 MW and 238 MWh to the company’s storage capacity, consolidating its presence in the German market. This project is part of ECO STOR’s overall strategy to develop storage infrastructures to meet the growing demand for renewable energy. The Schuby site will be equipped with the ECO STOR ES-100C model, divided into 64 lithium-ion battery containers and 32 conversion stations. This installation will enable ECO STOR to effectively manage fluctuations in energy supply and demand, an essential asset for dynamic energy markets.

Optimizing Energy Infrastructure

With this new site, ECO STOR aims to maximize the use of existing infrastructures and minimize operating costs. The choice of location, in direct proximity to the Schuby West substation, facilitates connection and integration into the grid. This project represents a strategic investment that will enable ECO STOR to strengthen its capacities while benefiting from the synergies offered by its other sites, notably those at Bollingstedt, Wengerohr and Förderstedt.
