Capstone Green Energy announces that DTC Soluciones has been awarded an order for two Capstone C600 Signature Series microturbine systems. The two turbines will total 1.2 MW.

Low electricity prices

Capstone Green Energy develops scalable microturbine energy systems. Their design meets the energy needs of manufacturers in terms of electrical and thermal demand. Thus, microturbines represent a solution, according to the company, to the challenges of the manufacturing industry.

Capstone Green Energy’s microturbines can thus reduce energy costs. They thus produce electricity at a lower cost than the price of electricity supplied by the public utility. The company is thus responding to one of the main challenges in the manufacturing industry.

According to the International Trade Association, Mexico ‘s industrial and commercial sectors account for 72% of electricity demand. As a result, high electricity rates are having an impact on industrial manufacturing. Despite these challenges, the industrial and commercial sectors represent a significant opportunity for U.S. exports.

A global presence

Capstone Green Energy is a leading provider of customized microgrid solutions and on-site energy technology systems. The company seeks to help customers around the world achieve their environmental, energy savings and resiliency goals.

Capstone Green Energy focuses on different sectors of activity. The company offers rental solutions using microturbine energy systems and battery storage systems. In addition, it offers comprehensive Factory Protection Plan service contracts and spare parts.
