These projects cover various aspects of SMR development, from dry fuel storage to the implementation of new manufacturing technologies. This funding aims to address technical challenges to deploy these technologies safely and effectively.

– **Objective:** Study dry fuel storage and conduct a technological and lifecycle assessment of SMRs to facilitate their efficient deployment.

– **Amount:** $2,131,000
– **Objective:** Support the development of new manufacturing technologies for SMR components by testing and qualifying innovative methods.

3. **Prodigy Clean Energy Ltd (Montreal, Quebec)**
– **Amount:** $2,750,000
– **Objective:** Research and develop transportable nuclear power plants to support the SMR supply chain.
