Aker Horizons completes the acquisition of Mainstream Renewable Power, the renewable energy company, for 900 million euros.
This adds up to a development pipeline of 12.5 GW and 1.4 GW in operation and under construction.

TheNorwegian company has just closed the deal to acquire Irish developer Mainstream Renewable Power.
In addition, 25% of the company has been retained and reinvested by Mainstream’s existing shareholders.
In addition, Aker Horizons has acquired a stake in SuperNode, a superconductor technology company.
Kristian Røkke, CEO of d’Aker, said,
“We have a clear ambition to develop Mainstream into a major player in renewable energies.”
With this transaction, the company aims to assert itself in the renewable energies market.
Its aim is to play an active part in eliminating 25 million tonnes ofCO2 per year by 2025.
It also aims to develop businesses with a total renewable energy production capacity of 10 GW.
