13 GWh of electricity will be supplied to the Portuguese subsidiary’s 46 stores each year.

13 GWh per year for Portugal’s 46 Fnac stores

Acciona renews its 100% renewable energy supply contract with Fnac Portugal.
TheSpanish company will supply 13 GWh per year for the Portuguese subsidiary’s 46 stores.
In addition, the energy used will be certified 100% Renewable Guarantees of Origin by the EEGO (Entidade Emissora de Garantias de Origem) platform of the Portuguese electricity group REN (Rede Elétrica Nacional).

Avoiding 3800 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year

Thanks to this partnership dating from 2019, Fnac Portugal has already reduced its annual CO2 emissions by 3800 tonnes.
In comparison, this is equivalent to taking 1462 cars off the road or planting 6700 trees.

100% clean energy for Fnac Portugal

By renewing its contract with Acciona, Fnac Portugal is demonstrating its commitment to the Fnac Darty Group’s strategy.
By using 100% clean energy, Fnac Portugal will drastically reduce the carbon footprint of its stores and logistics operations.
For Acciona, this new contract also strengthens its portfolio of international corporate customers.
It also enables Acciona to remain the world’s most sustainable electricity company.
