GN Group, Bravida, Scan Global Logistics, PA Savværk og Wiking Gulve, Tempur Sealy, Labelco, Scanpan, Malte Haaning Plastic, Petersen Tegl, Blue Energy, Polyprint and Egmont join forces with Energi Danmark and enter into an agreement to purchase renewable electricity from Better Energy.
By joining forces, these companies have pooled their electricity needs in Denmark and entered into a new power purchase agreement, which will bring additional renewable energy to the power grid.
Denmark’s climate targets depend crucially on the ability of renewable electricity generation to meet demand and the forthcoming electrification of society.
It is therefore vital that those who consume energy also contribute to increasing green energy production.
The future solar park resulting from this agreement is scheduled for completion in 2023 and will produce around 70,000 MWh per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of around 44,000 Danes.
