Waga Energy Secures 20-Year Contract to Produce 180 GWh of Biomethane in Florida
Hillsborough County entrusts Waga Energy with biogas upgrading at its Lithia site. The production unit, equipped with WAGABOX® technology, is expected to inject biomethane annually into the local gas network.

Waga Energy has announced the signing of a contract with Hillsborough County, located on the west coast of Florida in the United States. The French company will deploy its WAGABOX® technology at the Lithia municipality site to upgrade locally produced biogas. This project marks Waga Energy’s first deployment in this American state, where the company has its commercial headquarters.
