Trump Threatens to Destroy South Pars if Iran Attacks Qatar Again
Donald Trump threatened to completely destroy Iran's South Pars gas field if Tehran continued attacks against Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG complex, which has been hit twice.

Donald Trump issued Thursday a threat of total destruction of the South Pars gas field if Iran did not cease its attacks against Qatar. On his Truth Social platform, the US president indicated that the United States would "massively destroy the entirety of the South Pars gas field with a force and power Iran has never seen or known before" if Tehran "recklessly decided to attack an entirely innocent country, namely Qatar." Trump also confirmed that Israel was behind the attack carried out Wednesday against the Iranian side of this offshore gas site in the Persian Gulf, clarifying that the United States "knew nothing" of this operation.
