Tecnimont S.p.A., a subsidiary of Italian group MAIRE, announces the signing of a preliminary agreement with Argent LNG, LLC to participate in the development of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Port Fourchon, Louisiana. According to data communicated by the company, the project has a planned capacity of 25 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). This operation marks Tecnimont’s entry into the LNG export segment, identified as one of the growth drivers for MAIRE’s Integrated Engineering & Construction business unit.
