Subsea7 S.A. announced the award of a “substantial” contract by Chevron Australia for subsea works on the Gorgon Stage 3 (GS3) project, located offshore Australia. The company defines such contracts as being valued between $150mn and $300mn. The Gorgon field is one of the largest liquefied natural gas projects in Australia, and this new expansion phase aims to extend its production capacity.
