EDF has finalized the sale of the Norte Fluminense combined-cycle gas plant in Brazil to Âmbar Energia for 1.4 billion Brazilian reals (approximately 230 million euros). The transaction, completed following the required regulatory approvals, marks the French group's exit from this gas asset in South America. In a global gas sector undergoing restructuring, TotalEnergies recently started production at the Quiluma offshore gas field in Angola.
