Chevron has commenced production at the South N’dola field, located in Block 0 off the coast of Angola, through its subsidiary Cabinda Gulf Oil Company (CABGOC). This development aims to strengthen the exploitation of existing resources while limiting new investments. According to industry estimates, the field could generate around 25,000 barrels of crude oil per day, along with 50 million cubic feet of natural gas daily, bringing total output to nearly 33,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
