The board of directors of Neomat CAM took, on March 4, 2026, the final investment decision to build an active cathode materials (CAM) plant in the Hauts-de-France region. The joint venture, held 51% by Chinese group XTC New Energy and 49% by French Orano, announced the news at a press conference held in Dunkerque. The industrial unit is scheduled to begin operation in 2028.
