Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged his teams to finalize negotiations with Russia this month for the construction of a nuclear power plant, according to the official government portal. This directive follows Japan’s withdrawal from a second project deemed unfeasible within the required timeframe. Vietnam had relaunched its nuclear program in 2024, after suspending it in 2016.
