TotalEnergies Starts Lapa South-West, Adding 25,000 Barrels Per Day in Brazil

TotalEnergies has announced the startup of production from the Lapa South-West project, located in the Santos Basin, approximately 300 kilometers offshore Brazilian coasts. The French group, which holds 48% of the project as operator, connected three wells to the existing floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit of the Lapa field. This startup is part of TotalEnergies' growth strategy in the Brazilian offshore oil sector.
