TotalEnergies has restarted oil production from the Mabruk field in Libya, with a new 25,000 barrel-per-day unit commissioned on February 28, 2026. The group targets 3% annual production growth through 2030.

TotalEnergies announced the restart of oil production from the Mabruk field in Libya, marking the return to operations of a site idled since 2015. A new production unit with a capacity of 25,000 barrels per day (bbl/d) was commissioned on February 28, 2026. The group holds a 37.5% stake in this onshore field, located in the C17 concession, approximately 130 km south of Sirt.
