U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran have reignited fears of a global energy crisis. Brent crude reached $83 per barrel Tuesday morning. Daily freight rates for LNG carriers surged more than 40% after Qatar suspended production Monday. President Donald Trump indicated the conflict could last four to five weeks or longer.
