Stardust Solar Signs 30 MW PPA in Zambia Worth $60 to $90 Million
Canadian producer Stardust Solar has secured a 20-year power purchase agreement with Zesco Limited in Zambia. The deal covers a 30 MW solar plant expected to generate between $60 and $90 million in gross revenues.

Stardust Solar Energy announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Zesco Limited, a state-owned utility responsible for the majority of Zambia’s power transmission and distribution. According to data released by the company, this government-backed contract sets a rate of $0.07 per kilowatt-hour over a 20-year term. The company states this PPA represents the largest royalty-based transaction in its history.
