SolarMax Technology, a US-based integrated solar energy company, announced the signing of two major agreements with Yabucoa BESS LLC and Naguabo BESS LLC. These contracts cover the design and construction of battery energy storage systems with a combined capacity of 400 megawatt-hours (MWh) in Puerto Rico, specifically in the municipalities of Humacao and Ceiba. The total value of the two contracts amounts to $158.3mn, creating a significant projected revenue stream for SolarMax through 2027.
