Scatec Wins 25-Year Contract for 75 MW Wind Farm in Tunisia
Norwegian company Scatec and its Japanese partner Aeolus will develop the 75 MW El Fahs wind farm. The project, with an estimated investment of €100 million, is subject to a 25-year power purchase agreement with Tunisian state utility STEG.

Scatec ASA has won a government tender for the construction of a 75 MW onshore wind farm in Tunisia. The Norwegian group has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz (STEG), the country’s state utility. The project, named El Fahs, will be developed in partnership with Aeolus SAS, a subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Toyota Tsusho Group.
