Sasol announced the restart of its plastics production plant located in Louisiana, United States. The facility, operated through the Louisiana Integrated Polyethylene JV LLC joint venture, resumed operations in late December 2025 after a period described as an “extended shutdown” by the group. This information appears in the half-year operational results published on January 22. The South African group did not specify the exact duration of the shutdown or its technical causes.
