Reliance Industries, operator of the world’s largest refining complex, indicated it would consider acquiring Venezuelan oil if sales to non-U.S. buyers are authorized. “We await clarity on access for Venezuelan oil by non-U.S. buyers and will consider buying the oil in a compliant manner,” a company spokesperson said in an emailed response to Reuters. State-run refiners Indian Oil Corp and Hindustan Petroleum Corp would also consider this option, according to industry sources.
