<p style="text-align:start;"><span style="color: rgb(0,0,0);">This Regulation updates the energy labelling regime taking into account technological progress over the years in energy efficiency, supporting energy efficiency which is a crucial element of the EU's 2030 Climate and Energy Policy Framework and is key to moderating energy demand. The labels will have a clearer scale from A to G, replacing the previous A+++ to G labels. This Regulation also exempts means of transport for persons or goods that are regulated by other EU laws and policies.</span></p>
