Nordex secures 508 MW in Canadian orders and launches new turbine
German group Nordex has secured two major contracts totalling 508 MW in Canada, introducing its new N175/6.X turbine to the market for the first time.

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has announced two orders in Canada for a total of 73 turbines to be delivered between 2027 and 2028. These contracts, representing a combined capacity of 508 megawatts (MW), also mark the introduction of its N175/6.X model to the Canadian market for the first time. Each contract includes long-term maintenance agreements, ensuring technical support over several years.
