Mineros Acquires Colombian Gold Exploration Project from AngloGold Ashanti for $10 Million
Mineros signed an agreement to acquire a gold exploration project in Colombia from AngloGold Ashanti. The transaction valued at $10 million at closing, with contingent consideration potentially reaching $60 million.

Mineros has concluded a definitive agreement for the acquisition of all shares of AngloGold Ashanti Colombia, a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti. This entity holds the EIG-163 mining concession contract, authorizing gold exploration in Cajamarca, in the Tolima department. The project is located approximately 150 kilometers west of Bogotá and 30 kilometers west of Ibagué. The transaction does not include the Quebradona project, which AngloGold Ashanti continues to develop separately.
