Mineros to Acquire Colombian Gold Project La Colosa for $10 Million
Mineros has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AngloGold Ashanti's Colombian gold exploration project for an initial $10 million in cash, with contingent consideration reaching up to $60 million.

Mineros has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all shares of AngloGold Ashanti Colombia, a subsidiary of South African mining company AngloGold Ashanti. The entity holds mining concession agreement EIG-163, authorizing gold exploration in the municipality of Cajamarca, in the department of Tolima. The project is located approximately 150 kilometers west of Bogotá and 30 kilometers west of Ibagué. The transaction excludes the Quebradona project, which AngloGold Ashanti continues to develop independently.
