Masdar and RWE Secure 3 GW Offshore Wind Contracts in the United Kingdom
The British government awards contracts for difference to both partners for the Dogger Bank South wind farms. The investment would reach $13.4 billion (£11 billion).

Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s clean energy subsidiary, and RWE, the German energy company, have secured contracts for difference (CfD) for the Dogger Bank South (DBS) offshore wind farms. These agreements cover two projects of 1.5 GW each, DBS East and DBS West, representing a total capacity of 3 GW. The strike price is set at $111/MWh (£91.20/MWh), according to data released by both companies.
