Longi Launches Fireproof Hi-MO X10 Solar Module for Residential Photovoltaics
Chinese manufacturer Longi unveiled on March 9 a fireproof version of its Hi-MO X10 module, designed to reduce fire risks from hotspots and DC arc faults on rooftops.

Longi unveiled on March 9 a fireproof version of its Hi-MO X10 solar module at the 19th edition of the China International Solar Utilization Conference and Exhibition (SUCE), a trade show dedicated to photovoltaics. The module is based on the manufacturer's Hi-MO X10 platform, which integrates HPBC 2.0 cell technology — for hybrid passivated back contact of the second generation. The Hi-MO X10 range displays peak efficiency of 24.8% and a power temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C, according to the company.
