Chinese imports of Venezuelan oil are expected to decline sharply starting in February. Since the United States imposed a blockade in December, the number of tankers leaving Venezuela for China has dropped. Washington seized five Venezuela-linked vessels, prompting several shipowners to turn back or remain in Venezuelan waters after loading to avoid seizure.
