France seizes third Russian shadow fleet tanker, diverts to Marseille-Fos
The French navy intercepted the Deyna, a suspected Russian shadow fleet tanker, in the western Mediterranean on Friday. The vessel arrived Monday at Marseille-Fos to be placed at the disposal of the judiciary.

The French navy intercepted the Deyna, a 250-metre tanker sailing under a Mozambican flag, south of the Balearic Islands on Friday. The vessel, coming from Murmansk, arrived Monday morning off Marseille-Fos, escorted by a French naval vessel. It will be held at anchor and kept at the disposal of the Marseille public prosecutor as part of a preliminary investigation, according to a joint statement from the Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture and the maritime prefecture of the Mediterranean.
