The International Energy Agency (IEA) expresses reservations about Venezuela’s ability to restore its historical oil production. In its monthly report published Wednesday, the Paris-based organization highlights the structural obstacles facing this country, which claims to hold the world’s largest proven oil reserves. The IEA notes that Venezuelan production and exports have been severely limited for more than a decade.
