EIB Grants €220M to WEMAG to Modernize German Power Grid

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a €220M financing agreement with WEMAG, a German regional energy operator. This loan will cover, according to the company, more than one-third of planned investments in the power grid over the next four years. The signing ceremony was attended by Manuela Schwesig, Minister-President of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Nicola Beer, EIB Vice-President.
