Kazakhstan has redirected part of its oil production to its domestic market in response to disruptions affecting the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). According to four industry sources, crude from the offshore Kashagan field was delivered to the Shymkent refinery for the first time. The CPC, which handles approximately 80% of Kazakh oil exports, reduced volumes after drone attacks seriously damaged equipment at the Russian Black Sea terminal in late November.
