Iran Strikes Push Oil Prices Up by 15%, Highest Since July 2022
Crude oil prices surged approximately 15% on Monday to their highest level since July 2022, following coordinated strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure and production cuts across the Middle East.

Crude oil prices rose by approximately 15% on Monday, reaching their highest level since July 2022. Brent crude gained $15.51, or 16.7%, to settle at $108.20 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose by $14.23, or 15.7%, to $105.13 per barrel. These movements occurred in the context of military strikes on energy infrastructure in Iran and production reductions in several Middle Eastern producing countries.
