Google Signs Contracts for Nearly 1.2 GW of Carbon-Free Energy with Clearway in the United States

Google announced the signing of a series of long-term power purchase agreements with Clearway, an American carbon-free energy developer and operator. These agreements, known as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), cover a capacity of nearly 1.2 GW intended to power the tech group’s data centers. The projects are located in Missouri, Texas, and West Virginia.
