EDF and the Exeltium consortium have announced the conclusion of an agreement for the delivery of nearly 30 TWh of additional electricity. This extension falls within the framework of a contract established in 2008, which came into effect in 2010 and runs until 2034. The volumes concerned aim to meet the needs of the energy-intensive industrial shareholders of the consortium, according to the joint statement from both parties.
