ENGIE awards John Cockerill the retrofit of the Tihange 3 cooling tower

ENGIE has selected John Cockerill Hamon to carry out the retrofit of the natural-draft cooling tower at the Tihange 3 nuclear power plant. This major contract is part of Belgium’s national strategy to extend the operational life of its nuclear plants. The technically complex operations will involve up to 70 on-site workers, according to estimates provided by the company.
