Empire Wind Obtains Injunction to Resume Construction of Its Offshore Wind Farm

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia granted a preliminary injunction to Empire Offshore Wind LLC. This decision allows the company to resume construction activities on the Outer Continental Shelf for the Empire Wind project. The underlying lawsuit challenging the suspension order issued by the U.S. Department of the Interior on December 22, 2025, continues to proceed in court.
