Egypt: Four Wells Reveal 4,500 Barrels of Oil Per Day in the Western Desert
Khalda Petroleum and two Egyptian companies have identified new onshore hydrocarbon deposits. Production tests show combined flow rates of 4,500 barrels of oil and 2.6 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.

Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has confirmed the discovery of new commercially viable deposits in the Western Desert. Four exploration wells were drilled in this region located west of the Nile. Production tests conducted after drilling operations established combined flow rates estimated at approximately 4,500 barrels of oil and 2.6 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, according to data released by the ministry.
