EDF, OQAE and Al Khadra to build 120 MW wind farm in Oman
A consortium led by EDF power solutions has signed a 20-year agreement with Nama PWP to develop a 120 MW wind farm in southeastern Oman, with commissioning scheduled for Q3 2027.

A consortium composed of EDF power solutions, Al Khadra Partners, and OQ Alternative Energy has signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Nama Power and Water Procurement Company to develop the Jaalan Bani Bu Ali Independent Wind Power Project with a capacity of 120 megawatts. Located in the Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, the project spans an area of 10.7 km² and will include 16 turbines, each generating 7.7 MW.
