DenkerWulf, one of Germany’s leading developers of onshore wind farms, recently ordered seven N149/5.X turbines from Nordex Group for the Waabs wind farm near Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein. The order also includes a 20-year premium maintenance service.

Project specifications

The Delta4000 series turbines, each with a rated output of 5.7 megawatts, will be delivered from spring 2025. This 39.9 MW project is part of DenkerWulf’s strategy to strengthen its renewable energy production capacity with advanced technologies.

Fast, efficient contracting

Torsten Levsen, CEO of DenkerWulf, emphasized the efficiency of the partnership with Nordex: “The current deal flow with Nordex makes it quick and easy to conclude contracts. In general, we only need to discuss site parameters, which is extremely beneficial for optimizing our projects and processes.”

Delivery and installation of the turbines is scheduled for spring 2025, marking another milestone for DenkerWulf in the expansion of its wind farm portfolio. This order illustrates the company’s strategy of equipping itself with the best available technologies to maximize production and plant reliability.
