Sherritt International, a Canadian mining group operating in Cuba since 1991, has released a review of its 2025 operations. According to data disclosed by the company, production at the Moa mine, located in Holguin province in the eastern part of the island, reached 25,240 tonnes of nickel and 2,729 tonnes of cobalt. These volumes represent a decline compared to 2024, when the site produced 30,331 tonnes of nickel and 3,206 tonnes of cobalt.
