Brent Crude Surges to $108 on Israeli-American Strikes Against Tehran
Brent crude jumped 16.7% to $108.20 on Monday, its highest level since July 2022, driven by strikes on Iranian oil infrastructure and production cuts in the Gulf.

Crude oil prices advanced approximately 15% on Monday to reach their highest level since July 2022. Brent futures contracts, the international benchmark, gained $15.51, or 16.7%, to $108.20 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures, the U.S. benchmark, rose $14.23, or 15.7%, to $105.13 per barrel. These gains resulted from military strikes on Iranian oil infrastructure and production reductions across several Gulf countries.
