BP Enters Contract Negotiations with 800 Workers at Whiting Refinery
The United Steelworkers union is negotiating a new collective agreement with BP for its Whiting refinery. The British group would propose cutting more than 200 union positions.

BP is entering contract negotiations with workers at its Whiting refinery in Indiana. The United Steelworkers (USW) union represents around 800 workers at this facility, the largest in the U.S. Midwest with a capacity of 440,000 barrels per day. The current three-year collective bargaining agreement expires on January 31.
