BKW and Acacia Seal Ten-Year Contract for 200 MW of Batteries in France
Swiss group BKW and French developer Acacia have concluded a ten-year agreement for the optimization of two battery storage systems totaling 200 MW. The facilities will enter service in 2027.

BKW and Acacia have signed a long-term commercialization contract for two battery energy storage systems (BESS) in France. The agreement spans ten years and covers two installations with a unit capacity of 100 MW each, for a combined capacity of 200 MW. The two batteries offer a two-hour discharge capacity and deliver a total of 400 MWh of electricity, according to information released by both partners.
